That's no coincidence. They actually used the same character designer of the movie for him. In fact, if you notice, the voice actor is the same as Testuo.

On another note, Cloned Kyo's voice is the same as Kaneda's.

try putting Cloned Kyo against K9999 next time to see why old anime fans giggle a bit. :werd:
