I'm confused about your description.
Does your clock tell actual Sim-time?
Or is the time telling animation an animated gif?

I'm currently using boblishman's clock that tells Sim-time,
and it would be great to see more clocks like that!

is it a real sim clock or just some else to hang on the wall?

The clock doesn't show Sim-Time because it is animated by the texture (so it is an animated gif as you said)

I didn't see boblishman's clock before and I suppose that his clock wasn't made with this method
But I'll contact him and maybe make a Sim-Time showing version, too
