I love this fireplace, but when i instaled it (As per directions) I went to go and place it, It said I had insficiant funds, I had $23,000 How would i fix this problem?

WOW!!! I have no idea, I lowered the price to 1500 from the Maxis base fireplace which was 3000, and I always cheat when I decorate so I hadn't noticed just what the charge was. I just tested it by installing it in another area of the house and it charged the family 11,000 I will check the package again and let you all know what I must have done, just hope I can find it.

I love these, I have downloaded them, and followed the instructions, and I just want to double check and make sure I did it right - I copied and pasted the text only into the Sims2 folder, not the expansion packs as well, right? Thank you again and sorry for being such a dummy.

You're not a dummy for double checking, alway better to be safe than sorry. And yes, that's right, only in the fireplaces.txt file found in the Sims2 folder, not any of the expansion packs.
