Another thing you might want to think about to improve these blinds is using the process in the following thread, make it so there are two gmdc files in the package, one with the blinds opened and one closed, so the sims can open and close the blinds.

Hi Miche.....

OMG...OMG...OMG ....I worked out how to do the diagonal thing ...(see below) .....doh ...(all I had to do was compare the original curtains' files to see which references they were) ....doh! .....

BUT ...

and its a HUGE 'but'....

NOW I'm having problems with the RECOLOURS .....aaarrrghghhghgh!!!. ....

...they revert back to the TEXTURE of my original orange design, (but retain the new mesh) ...when placed on a diagonal wall.

I understand that I need to make recolour packages for the diagonal versions as well.... but the 'master' diagonal file is producing 'empty' packages when I use OW to make a recolour of it..... :fallen: .... any idea why?. (I've tried remaking the master 'diagonal' file (for two hours)...but no joy ... everytime I get an empty package file...

my brain hurts....

any help is welcome...

thanks

Bob

Wow! these are great. Not sure exactly what you consider a low end computer, but chances are my laptop fits the catergory, I will test these later on and let you know how it goes. Also want to thank you for all your wonderful creations that I have in my game. You are awesome. Thanks!
