Taegan Walsh was born in Ballybricken, a small town outside of Limerick, Ireland, on February 4, 1879.

Being the youngest she was mummy's favorite, and, since the day she took her first tottering step, followed mummy around, "helping" with the chores. Cooking, cleaning, peeling, brushing--she did it all. She was glad to, though sometimes mummy wasn't quite as glad.

In the early days, when the help was too much, mummy sent little Taegan off, kicking and screaming in the hands of one of her older brothers to... school.

As Taegan grew older, mummy found she could be of much more use around the house than at school and often begged her, wouldn't she like to stay home and help with the wash? But teenage Taegan no longer minded going to school. Why, she absolutely adored going to school. She absolutely adored Micheal McCesney...


Now, at 26, Taegan McCesney spends her days in much the same way. Cooking, cleaning, peeling, brushing. She does it all, and her three children and their da all agree that she's the best mum in the world.
