Nope, you shouldn’t have any issues with both mods installed.

Is it possible to use this mod with other chaise lounges? (I like that sims don't hold their arms over the armrests, as they would on EA's chairs.) Or does the chaise specifically need this mod's script in order to use?

You'd have to use one of my converted chaises as a base make other chaise lounges functional because I used a custom routing slot. And the chaises need this script in order to work.
