Unfortunately, real life is getting in the way of modding again, so I haven't had the chance to check, but I believe this mod should still work fine since it's primarily adding new tuning rather than overriding a lot of basegame resources.

I know I'm replying to a rather old post, but wanted to let you know just in case you're still interested that in the latest version (main module V2 or merged_all) I've changed the functionality to allow forced sleeping on any lot with a bed, which should apply to the situation you were referring to.
