Let's be honest - you did not test this house, right? Counter islands are useless in this house 'cause sims can clear dirty plates from it.

Well, actually I did and I know the plates are a problem. I made this type of island many times and I will do them again 'cause it looks good. You can move this plate anytime in inventory mode

Not my style bro. I prefer my sims to act more autonomously. I could place hand-crafted dishes on such surfaces to prevent sims from use it.
